Bradley Tech's Atkins & Reagan's Reyes Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (May 5)

Journi Atkins (Bradley Tech High School) and Vanessa Reyes (Reagan High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 27 – May 3.

Atkins took first place in the girls long jump at the outdoor conference relays at Pulaski Stadium on April 29. Atkins competed in three other events for the Trojans as well: 4x100M relay, 800 sprint medley, and the 4x200M relay. The Bradley Tech girls track & field team finished fifth out of 11 teams at the meet.

Reyes scored three goals for Reagan as the Huskies posted a 2-0-1 week against Rufus King (win), Bradley Tech (win), and Oak Creek (draw). Reagan is now 11-1-1 on the season and has not lost since April 10.
